Khao Nang Hong Viewpoint - Phang Nga Province

KHAO NANG HONG VIEWPOINT PHANG NGA

We came across a sign in Phang Nga Province for Khao Nang Hong Viewpoint which is in Tham Thong Lang, Thap Put District so decided to keep driving and have a look.

Finally, after driving many kilometers out of our way and up a steep 7 kilometer winding road we found the viewpoint which was about 30 kilometers from Phang Nga on Route 4311 or Route 4.

It looks like no one has been up here for many years, everything is very run down, there was rubbish everywhere etc but the views looking out over Phang Nga are sensational.

Have to say we were very surprised to meet 2 double semi trailers coming down the hill on the very narrow roads, we just managed to squeeze past.

Not worth going out here just to see the viewpoint but there is also a spectacular golf course another 30 minutes’ drive past the view point called Katathong and then about another 40 minutes’ drive and you will be in Khao Lak.
