LAEM SAI SEAFOOD RESTAURANT
Laem Sai Seafood is located on Phuket's East Coast not far past Mission Hills Golf Resort and Spa in a very quiet and virtually untouched area of Phuket.
Just keep following the road around and you will see the restaurant on your right just after the Laem Sai Pier and before you enter Laem Sai village.
We have been to Laem Sai many times over the years and you will never see any tourists here, it is a local's place and we love it. The food is delicious and extremely cheap.
This place is nothing fancy and the restaurant is very basic. There have been a few changes over the years, now there is a menu, some of the decking has been replaced and the holes in the roof are gone, but Laem Sai still retains its charm, great staff and delicious food.
We have always said they make the best Oyster Omelet we have ever had anywhere in Thailand.
So, if you want somewhere off the beaten track then we highly recommend Laem Sai restaurant which is about 35 kilometers from Patong Beach and 8 kilometers from the airport, the restaurant is actually in the flight path so can be a little bit noisy at times.
