MOM TRI'S VILLA ROYALE
We have been staying at Mom Tri's Villa Royale each year since 2009 and it is our favourite hotel in Phuket, we have stayed in the Royale Wing Suites, Ocean Wing Suites and many times in the Beach Wing Suites. Every time we arrive the whole experience is magical, the happy staff, the beautiful rooms, Mom Tri’s Kitchen, the grounds, the pools, watching fire flies from our balcony and the peaceful surroundings.
The Royale Wing Suites are beautifully decorated, very light and bright, complete with all the finishing touches you would expect at such an exclusive hotel. The bed is massive, extra-large king size and very comfortable. The bathroom is stunning and all natural good quality toiletries are provided, there are fresh orchids everywhere, lovely soft background music playing and a subtle scent of lemon grass, just perfect! My favourite part of this room is the very inviting balcony area, which also has a ceiling fan, 2 coffee tables and 2 large daybeds.
Now for the Beach Wing Suites, I have to say we absolutely love these rooms, they are more traditional, lots of woodwork and sensational views of Kata Noi Beach from the balcony. We love how the only noise we heard from these suites was the water crashing onto the rocks below.
All rooms have free Wi-Fi, 32-inch flat screen televisions and DVD players. These rooms may not be suitable for the elderly or disabled due to the amount of steps leading up and down from reception. (However the Royale Wing Suite would be perfect as there are no steps). There is a turn down service at night and each afternoon complimentary newspapers and a sweet treat are left in your room.
Another lovely area connected to Villa Royale by a walkway are the Ocean Wing Suites which are 5 semi-detached rooms along with private Guest Lounge areas that are set at the tip of the headland overlooking the ocean. The 5 suites are named after wine and we stayed in the Pinot Noir suite, you really need to see all of my photos to see how beautiful these rooms are.
Oh and have I mentioned there is a staff of 7 to look after the 5 suites! The suites are set in 3 different pavilions and there is also a Guests Lounge area with custom tables, chairs, lounge suites, television and Mom Tri’s personal collection of artwork and sculptures are also on display here and around the property.
Mom Tri's Villa Royale is all about privacy and there are little areas all over the beautiful grounds with sun lounges set amongst the palms or gardens and every area has amazing views. Rain or shine there is somewhere to rest and relax with a book or just sit and soak up the peace and quiet.
Mom Tri’s Villa Royale is the most peaceful, relaxing and beautiful hotel we have stayed in. It is so quiet and secluded, yet very warm and friendly, it is laid back, nothing pretentious here, but luxurious at the same time. So if you are looking for somewhere very special to stay with exceptional service, beautiful surroundings, privacy and that feeling of stepping into another world then we highly recommend you stay at Mom Tri’s Villa Royale.
