NANG THONG BAY RESORT KHAO LAK
Nang Thong Bay Resort at Bang La On must be one of the best value places to stay in Khao Lak. Location is perfect with sensational views from the beachfront cottages at 1500baht per night and the second row cottages which still have beach views for 1200baht per night during low season are fantastic value.
The beach front cottages are stand alone and they all have the most comfortable king size beds and pillows and the other cottages have good twin beds and are joined to the room next door.
The cottages are very clean and come equipped with far more than we expected for the price, such as DVD players, free wifi, tea, coffee, kettle, hair dryer, toiletries etc.
Another bonus is the beautiful big bathrooms with plenty of hot water. There is a lovely big pool and pool bar, however we have never seen the bar open during low season which is when we stay there.
Nang Thong Bay Resort also has a lovely open air restaurant that is not expensive, and it is also only a few minute’s walk from restaurants, supermarkets, bars and shopping so it is the perfect place to stay.
Actually, there is nothing bad to say about this hotel, we like it so much we have been back 6 times now.
