PEANG PRAI RESTAURANT
Why not try somewhere a little bit off the beaten track for a change and get out of the main tourist areas. Peang Prai Restaurant is in Pa Klok Phuket on the way to Bang Pae Waterfall, just before the entry to the National Park.
It is sometimes called the Treehouse Restaurant and set out over 2 connected open air wooden buildings surrounded by beautiful trees and plants. Such a fantastic place to have a long lazy lunch.
The food is different here, real Thai no watered down versions to suit the tourist palate and it is so delicious and beautifully presented. Their Crab meat curry is amazing. If you are lucky like we were you will also hear the gibbons singing from the Rehabilitation Center.
I am not sure what the individual prices were for each dish but the total bill for all our meals and drinks for 4 people was 1900baht about $90.
