TORRY'S ICE CREAM BOUTIQUE
OLD PHUKET TOWN
Soi Rommanee in Phuket’s Old Town is such an interesting little street; it started off as a place for prostitutes from Macau and Opium houses back in the tin mining days.
Now all the beautiful buildings have been restored and there are quaint little bars, guesthouses and the famous Torry’s Ice Cream Boutique which is in a lovely restored Sino Portuguese building.
This place is so busy on weekends with Thai families that you usually must wait until a table becomes available but believe me it is worth it as the homemade ice cream is sensational.
All their ice creams are made with local Phuket products and no preservatives or artificial coloring.
Soi Rommanee connects Dibuk Road with Thalang Road and this is where you will also find Phuket’s Walking Street Markets on Sundays.
